Holly’s Biography

“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” Marie Robinson

Holly Hoffman was the last remaining member of the Espada Tribe and the last woman standing on Season 21 of CBS’ hit reality show “Survivor Nicaragua”. Through that experience, and others throughout her life, Holly was inspired to share her message of survival.

Presentation Topics

“The Survivor Way”

As we survive life’s challenges, we come face-to-face with fear and uncertainty.

Challenges may allow us to step out of our comfort zone and push ourselves above and beyond our own self-limitations. It is how we choose to overcome challenges that make us who we are in life. It is our strength in times of difficulty that prove our character and self worth.

As I share my experience of being on a reality show, I encourage you to think about how you decide to survive on a daily basis. Also, I will encourage you to think about six words to develop your survival skills. With my six simple words, you can take on any challenge with which you are faced.

Adversity is not so much contending with problems as it is learning more about who you really are and what is inside of you.

Join me and explore your true survival skills.

“Write Yourself a Note”

Be confident.  Be great.  Be you.

At the end of the day, unless we make a conscious effort to bring ourselves back to center and refocus, we begin to lose ourselves. It’s never too late to find purpose.

This presentation offers encouragement, optimism, and a roadmap for self-discovery. You will be inspired to work towards a successful and fulfilling life for yourself.

Discover a simple tool to refocus and reprioritize you. As you “write yourself a note” you will begin to discover if you are where you want to be.  You will encourage yourself to find purpose. No matter what stage of life you’re in, we all need purpose.

“Lead Simply”

Leadership is not complex. Leadership at its core, is simple, but not always easy. A simple leadership framework consists of three words:

  • model
  • connect
  • involve

True leadership is not just words, it’s action. We must model the behavior we want to see, connect with the people you lead, and involve them as much as possible.

During this presentation you will identify and discover what you want to see more and less of in your leadership skills to create that special team of people.

“Great leaders don’t tell you what to do, they show you how it’s done.”

“Three Step Stride”

Don’t ever be afraid of change and getting rid of steps you don’t need. Your stride in life is very important for your well-being and your self-worth. In Holly’s newest compelling program, “Three Step Stride” she explains how her ability to reduce steps between hurdles made her a track star, and how eliminating steps is also a metaphor for life. Getting rid of things you don’t need like comparison, excuses, and complacency can get you over life’s hurdles and to your finish line sooner. Your three-step stride is important to discovering your race and accomplishing your goals.

If you want to wow your participants and send them home with rejuvenated spirits, Holly Hoffman must be your Speaker!!! Not only did she provide an amazing & motivating Keynote, but her General Session, “Lead Simply” had all my participants saying, “BRING HER BACK!” Personally, if I could bottle her energy, I would make a fortune! Holly is for sure on our list to have back to our events!!!

“Holly served as our keynote workshop facilitator during our annual South Dakota 4-H Teen Leadership Conference (TLC). To say that the teens loved her, is an understatement! During her time with us, she facilitated the Lead Simply and The Survivor Way sessions. She kept the teens engaged and attentive during both speaking engagements. When we asked what their favorite part of TLC was, most responded with ‘Holly Hoffman’. She was so easy to work with prior to the event and truly cared about the experience we had! I would absolutely recommend Holly for any teen audience.”

Holly Hoffman delivers! Holly has an awesome survivor story that keeps you engaged throughout. She will have you laughing and crying all at the same time. Holly intertwines her experience on Survivor to leadership principles we can implement in our everyday life. After Holly was done speaking our staff gave her a standing ovation. One of the best things about Holly is how personal she is and how quickly she connects to people. We will have Holly back to speak to the leaders in our company again.

I heard Holly speak for the first time at a Credit Union League Conference in Chicago, Illinois back in 2021. Everything about her message, delivery and teaching style was absolutely captivating and first class! Our credit union hired her to come to Decatur and spend the morning with our entire staff for a training day. Everyone LOVED her and the day was a total success!
