Aaron Putze Biography

Aaron learned early in life the importance of hard work, showing up, keeping your word and treating others with respect growing up on a northwest Iowa crop and livestock farm.

Those lessons continue to serve him well as a husband, dad, volunteer, and team leader. Aaron has traveled the nation inspiring teams and organizations while providing a roadmap for navigating relentless change and building strong and enduring cultures. He’s also traversed the globe – from China, Chile and Morocco to Egypt, Pakistan and Bangladesh – promoting U.S. agriculture. His 30-plus years of communications experience includes a unique blend of storytelling, team building, strategic planning and brand management.

Aaron is the author of two books: “Destined for Greatness – The Story of Chuck Long & Resurgence of Iowa Hawkeyes’ Football” and “You Are Destined for Greatness – Stories of Inspiration and Empowerment.”

He’s a popular public speaker, leadership coach and strategist, engaging with audiences around the country. Aaron is an accredited public relations practitioner and earned degrees in public relations and communications from the University of Northern Iowa and a Supervisory Leadership Certificate from Drake University Des Moines, Iowa.

Aaron is a member of the Waukee Rotary, Knights of Columbus and serves on the Communications Board of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. He enjoys golfing, grilling, gardening, and spending time with family. He and his wife Crystal are the parents of three children and live in Waukee, Iowa.
